Biography
Juliane Jaschnow (*1989) is a filmmaker and artist. Working with film, video, installation, object and print she focuses on collective narratives and memory processes, their identity-creating dimension and the role of image-political practices. Juliane Jaschnow is part of the collective Filmic Initiative Leipzig FILZ. She is a co-founder and curator of .mpeg art space and a member of Initiative Kino in Bewegung. Since 2020 she has a lectureship at Institute of Theory at HGB Leipzig.
