The replica of the Reichstag in Russia is covered with large printed canvases reproducing a barricaded facade destroyed in battle. For the extensive photo montage, a bullet hole image template was mainly used and applied in different scales. The billboard "Bullet hole, iStock by Getty Images" - which was part of the solo exhibition at IDEAL art space Leipzig - refers to the status of this image template as a stock image: a product of agencies, produced in advance and ready as a globalized commodity free of context and open to meaning, timeless and placeless.
On 18th March 2021 the counterpart of a mobile billboard was placed in direct relationship with the original location in front of the Reichstag building in Berlin.
